During the weekend one of the nicest things is to spend some time with your friends or family. However just having guest seems great but there is a preparation process we should cover especially if you aim to meet your guest in a tidy up and comfortable property. Here are few tips which will help you to tidy up your property in less than 30 minutes.
1. Apply some hoovering only to dusty areas
Don’t try to clean every single inch of the floor. This is almost impossible and always takes lots of energy and time. You don’t want to meet your guests into a shiny property looking completely exhausted. Hoover or mop only the dirty and obvious spots. This will reach a general a fresh look.
2. Ask your guests if they have a preference for the meal
Get in touch will everyone and confirm what are they preferences for the lunch / dinner. This will make them feel special and will save you the effort to arrange in general the whole menu.
3. Mop the bathroom
It is recommended every time you take a bath to mop the floor and dry the shower area. This will guarantee a quick and effective cleaning of the premise even at the last minute before your guests arrival as there will be no traces of soap or shower gel on the cabinets, doors or mirror. Leave in the bathroom you favourite products and the rest store in the cupboards.
4. Cleaning during commercials
A week before the guest arrival use the free time during commercials while you watch movies and TV to tidy up and clean the dirty spots at your property. Remove all the unneeded objects from the living room and the bathroom as they create that general messy look
